Dear Listener,
I appreciate you listening to my new podcast.
A little about me? During the 90's God directed me to sell our dream home in Nebraska and move toward becoming an Evangelist and Preacher of the Message of Christ. I went from a hard working machinist cowboy in a small farm community to Church Planter, Church Growth Professional with an Emphasis on dynamic Church Growth and Evangelism teaching people to be encouraged to stay focused on Christ Jesus.
During my Call I attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs where I learned about being "Born Again" and living a Holiness life.
I then completed my BA of Religion, Human Relations from MNU in Olathe KS. We have lots experience in Church Leadership, Church Planting, Church Growth, Bus Ministry, Youth, Teenagers and Church Growth through Volunteerism within the Church Body.
I work a full time service job in the KC Metro and stay encouraged daily by Reading/Listening to the Bible every day. My days at work are not easy, however, being planted in God and prayer daily, I stay encouraged.
We have spent the last 22 years raising our five children and God still has a plan for our life reaching people with God's Message. My cousin who owns a radio station asked me to do some Scripture readings to fill empty spots during broadcasts. After a few times I felt the Lord telling me to start a podcast on Prepping the Soul.
We have watched YouTube videos on Prepping for what's coming soon in the world, however, I feel with direction by the Holy Spirit that we need more attention on Prepping the Soul.

God’s Awesome Work!
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it.
They will be yours for food.
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.”
Genesis 1:26-31 NIV
We are part of God’s creation. We as humans were made by Him for a unique relationship with Him.
We are not gods ourselves, however, we have certain characteristics of God.
“Let us make mankind in Our image!”
We share cooperative participation with God in His work.
God blesses people and tells them to have children and fill the whole earth.
God wants us to fill the earth and to take care of it.
Interesting: God created the world and us and designed us to be creative and creators.
“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:”
Psalms 8:3-6 NIV
God designed us to work six days per week and rest one day per week.
God has will, intelligence and emotion-so do we.
God made us in His image and desires relationship with us through the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!
God doesn’t need us. God created the whole world and all of existence before He created you and me. He said, “Let us make man in our image!”
Then of course God saw that man was lonely and designed a woman to be a friend to man.
God created us for personal relationship.
God who created the whole world, created each of us to have an intimate relationship with Him through the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Once you invite Christ into your heart and believe in God, your whole life will begin to change for the best. You may recognize a heart change instantly after you accept Jesus into your heart.
When I accepted Jesus into my heart I was excited for a change. I didn’t really know what to expect. As I grew older I recognized changes and my desires of worldly sin disappeared.
I wasn’t a perfect person because I did enjoy the sinful
